A magnificent example of early-1960s statement jewelry, this vintage Sarah Coventry “Golden Bouquet” bracelet and matching clip-on earring set is all about texture, movement, and sculptural gold.
Dating to circa 1961, the design features sweeping layers of finely textured gold-tone strands arranged in dimensional, overlapping sprays. The effect is somewhere between feathers, leaves, and a stylized bouquet—organic in inspiration yet unmistakably glamorous.
The bracelet is especially impressive.
Measuring approximately 1.5 inches wide, it is constructed from articulated sections that move fluidly around the wrist. Each section is composed of individually defined, rope-like gold-tone strands that catch the light from different directions, giving the bracelet extraordinary depth without the need for rhinestones or colored stones.
The matching earrings repeat the same swirling motif in a beautifully proportioned clip-on design, transforming the bracelet into a complete mid-century demi-parure.
Beautifully Preserved Gold-Tone Finish
The condition of this set is exceptional.
The gold-tone finish remains remarkably rich and vibrant, with the fine texturing and dimensional construction beautifully preserved. Rather than appearing flat or overly polished, the metalwork has the intricate surface character that makes this design so visually compelling.
The bracelet closure remains functional, and the coordinating earrings retain their original clip mechanisms.
Period Sarah Coventry and PAT. PEND. markings are present as shown in the detailed photographs.

A True Mid-Century Statement Set
What makes this set so compelling is that its drama comes entirely from form and texture.
There are no rhinestones competing for attention. Instead, dozens of sweeping gold-tone strands create light, shadow and movement across the surface. The result feels surprisingly contemporary despite its early-1960s origins.
Wear the bracelet alone as a bold sculptural statement, add the earrings for the complete vintage presentation, or preserve the set together as a beautiful example of collectible Sarah Coventry design.
A spectacular circa-1961 demi-parure with exceptional texture, presence and preservation.
