Vintage Arthur Pepper ART Red Heart Clip-On Earrings

These fabulous vintage Arthur Pepper ART clip-on earrings feature chunky faceted ruby-red heart rhinestones framed in richly textured gold-tone metal.
The heart-shaped settings have wonderful dimension and texture, surrounding substantial faceted red stones that flash from deep garnet to brilliant ruby as they catch the light. Their dimensional construction gives the earrings a beautifully substantial profile without overwhelming the ear.
Dating to approximately the 1960s, these earrings were produced by Mode-Art, the New York costume jewelry company associated with designer Arthur Pepper and known to collectors simply as ART.
Turn them over and you’ll find the ART© signature on the reverse of each earring, along with the original clip-back construction.
At approximately 7/8 inch across, these are wonderfully chunky little statement earrings—the kind of vintage jewelry that delivers plenty of presence in a compact size.
