A spectacular circa 1960s vintage necklace and matching clip-on earring set, showcasing luminous cobalt-blue simulated star sapphire glass cabochons surrounded by emerald green, aqua blue, royal blue and sparkling clear rhinestones.
The centerpiece is an extraordinary oversized pendant crafted in warm gold-tone metal with elaborate open scrollwork and beautifully dimensional filigree detailing. A substantial oval cobalt-blue glass cabochon commands the center, displaying a luminous star-like optical effect as it catches and moves through the light.
Surrounding the centerpiece is an intricate arrangement of additional blue cabochons and individually set rhinestones. Jewel-toned emerald green and aqua accents provide vivid contrast against the saturated cobalt blue, while clear crystals illuminate the ornate gold-tone setting.
