Vintage 12K Gold Filled Engraved Floral Brooch
An exceptionally lovely vintage brooch crafted in a warm rose-gold-toned 1/20 12K gold-filled finish, featuring beautifully executed floral engraving and an ornate scalloped border.
The oval face is decorated with a graceful engraved flower and foliage motif. Different texturing techniques have been used throughout the petals and leaves, giving the design wonderful dimension as the light moves across the surface. Fine engraved accents radiate from the center of the flower while delicately textured leaves surround the blossom.
A particularly striking feature is the outer border. The oval centerpiece is framed by a finely detailed edge surrounded by a dark contrasting textured scalloped design, creating an almost lace-like effect around the warm rose-gold center.
The reverse retains its original pin mechanism with a traditional fold-over safety closure. The brooch is stamped “1/20 12K G.F.”, denoting 12K gold-filled construction. A small additional maker’s/device hallmark appears beside the gold-filled mark, although the manufacturer has not been conclusively identified.
