This substantial vintage Kenneth Lane necklace is all about scale, light and texture. Large, irregularly shaped clear faceted crystals are individually bezel-set in warm gold-tone metal, creating the look of oversized rock crystal scattered throughout the necklace.
The crystals are beautifully faceted, allowing them to catch and reflect light from every angle. Their intentionally asymmetrical shapes give the necklace an organic, almost hand-cut appearance rather than the uniformity of traditional rhinestone jewelry.
The necklace is finished with a distinctive open oval-link chain with decorative wrapped connector links. The repeating elongated oval links and tightly wrapped connectors give the chain wonderful dimension and complement the substantial crystal stations beautifully.
At approximately 32 inches long, this is an impressive long statement necklace that can be worn effortlessly over a simple black dress, silk blouse, cashmere sweater or even a crisp white shirt. It has wonderful weight in the hand and feels substantial and beautifully constructed.

Excellent vintage condition.
The gold-tone finish remains bright and beautiful with no notable gold-tone loss. Crystals present beautifully and the necklace has been exceptionally well preserved.
