A rare and expressive example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, this antique brooch brings together natural coral branches, early faux pearls, and sparkling paste stones, all meticulously hand-wired onto a layered filigree base. The construction and materials clearly place this piece in the c. 1915–1925 era, a time when jewelry was created with patience, artistry, and meaning.

Every coral branch was individually wrapped and secured with metal wire. The elongated pin stem and early clasp style are hallmarks of true antique work, predating modern safety clasps by decades. This is a brooch that was worn, treasured, and preserved—an heirloom-level survivor with a story woven into every wire.

Styling Note

A striking heritage piece that elevates any ensemble. Beautiful on coats, shawls, wool blazers, woven handbags, or as the standout on a winter wrap. The warmth of the coral paired with antique sparkle gives this brooch a richness that modern jewelry simply cannot replicate.

Collector's Note

This is a true antique — not 1930s, not retro, but pre-Art Deco, built before mass-production methods existed. The wire construction is fully hand-done, a technique often seen in small-workshop and artisan jewelry of the 1915–1925 period. Pieces like this rarely survive intact, making this an exceptional find for a serious vintage collector.
